Welcome to Zephyr Holistic Psychology. Where better outcomes are achieved by treating the whole person, rather than just the symptoms. That's what makes us a little bit different...

About Zephyr
At Zephyr, we embrace a holistic approach to mental wellness. Situated in the heart of historic Portland NSW, our boutique psychology practice is dedicated to nurturing the mind, body, and spirit. We believe that true healing occurs when we address not just symptoms, but the whole person.
Our compassionate team is committed to creating a safe, supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we will embark on a journey toward deeper self understanding and lasting positive change. Join us in cultivating a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Our Services
Holistic psychology specialises in treating the whole person rather than just focusing on symptoms. At Zephyr we integrate various therapeutic approaches including evidenced based psychological methods, mindfulness, and complementary practices such as nutrition, exercise, and meditation.
Our goal is to promote positive change in our client’s lives by addressing emotional, mental, and physical health. Holistic psychology also emphasises the importance of relationships, environment, and lifestyle in mental health. At Zephyr we understand that everyone is different. Rebates
Information on Medicare rebates and
Private Health rebates...
Medicare Rebates
Medicare’s Better Access to Mental Health initiative is a government scheme that
provides a partial rebate on psychology sessions to people with mental health
symptoms. To be eligible, you must receive a referral letter and Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician, which you can then pass on to your psychologist.
By receiving a referral and a Mental Health Care Plan, you will be entitled to a rebate
from Medicare for part of each session fee. You will be eligible for this rebate on up to 10
sessions per calendar year (Jan-Dec). This rebate only applies to individual psychology
sessions – unfortunately couples therapy and psychometric assessments are not
eligible for Medicare rebate.
For further information, you can visit the Australian Psychological Society and the
Department of Health websites.
Private Health Insurance
If you have Private Health insurance, you may be eligible for rebates on some sessions.
Private Health rebates will depend on your specific cover, so please check with your
insurance provider.
*NOTE: Keep in mind that you CANNOT claim both Medicare and Private Health fund rebates for the same session.
